about PRI

I am one of hundreds of Aggarwals. I have a huge, silly, crazy and loud family and I love them to tidbits and pieces.

I am a dancer.  I teach little children Bollywood dance and perform professionally with various professional companies.

I am an adventurer.  Right after college, I moved to the outskirts of Bangalore, India, where I lived and volunteered at an orphanage.

I am a mermaid.  I love water in all shapes and forms.  I love to swim, hike, go to the beach and eat rainbow flavored snow cones.  This is me at the peak of Mount Index in Washington.  BEAUTIFUL – the mountain of course . . .

I am a painter and artist.  I enjoy making handcrafted goods for my dear family and friends.  Here is a before and after picture of a clock I made for my Nani (maternal grandma).  The little photos are of my maternal family members (this is where you say: awwww, how cute!!!).

I am an attorney.  I practice corporate and real estate law in Orange County, California.  This is a picture of me with former California Supreme Court Justice Carlos Moreno at my swearing in ceremony in December 2011.

And of course, I am a cook!  I have never taken professional cooking lessons or gone to culinary school.  I’ve watched my mom, Thayee Ji (aunt), Nani and Pops have fun in the kitchen.  One day, I hope my grandchildren will come to me, like I do to Nani, and ask me to teach them family secrets.

Awesome. I am not much into cooking. In fact, all I can do it boil water. BUT I do love to eat, so it’s good to know what all you can make. So next time we meet, I’ll be expecting to be fed with some of your wonderful cooking.
